Whereas Desert Sage was again dormant on December 31 , Beantown has kindly offered the band its second most coveted gig, January 28, CHINESE NEW YEAR! Are the hounds of unrealized New Years resolutions snapping at your heals? Well heres your chance to go on the offensive. Call up your estranged significant other, Ballys, that creditor, Alanon, the IRS, WHO-EVER, and tell them you meant to turn a new leaf on CHINESE New Year, January 28, NOT January 1. What were they thinking ? In fact, why not treat them to a fantastic Bean Town coffee & meal on the 28th, just to show that you forgive them for not knowing what you meant.
FREE CDs! The band also is turning a new page with a daring business decision. Rather than increase exposure by illegally selling CDs of our unoriginal material, we are GIVING them away! Shirts are still a Jackson, but we will be giving away as many CDs as our collective little CD burners can rip.
To get to Bean Town, take eastbound 210 from the Pasadena, and exit Baldwin Avenue. Go north on Baldwin (towards the mountains). As soon as you pass Sierra Madre Blvd., look for Bean Town on your left. Plenty of free street parking!
